Our thoughts and prayers to everyone

On behalf of Filip + Inna – the Artisans from around the Philippines, the ladies at our workshop in Taguig and the Design Team – we would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to everyone in the midst of this global health crisis caused by COVID-19.

May this trying time spur us to reflect on our own life, its purpose and meaning. May the limitation of our movement be used for good as it will give us the opportunity to rest our bodies and our minds. May the absence of what we are used to make space for an appreciation of what is essential and what is enough.

The artisans have always shown me how life can be fully lived through these 2 simple truths : good relationships and contentment. In such a time as this, we find our strength and solace in family, friendships and more importantly in our faith in God. May we draw closer to each other and unto Him. In the state we are in, we discover that we can find joy in the simplest of things and rearrange our priorities.

Let us use this as a spark for revival, restoration and transformation for ourselves, our family, community, city, country and for the planet we live in. Filip + Inna has from the very beginning nurtured the set up of the artisans working from the comforts of their home and they continue to do so. The Design Studio and The Workshop are closed for the time being, but we continue to be accessible through the different message channels.

We salute the frontliners.
We pray and hope for each one of you to be safe and protected.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
– an Irish Blessing

With love and prayers,
Len
